December TBR
As I mentioned in my previous two posts, I’ve just come out of a reading slump. Now that I’m finally back into reading, I’ve given myself a pretty tall order for December. These are the five books currently on my December TBR. While the Dark Remains by Joanna Ruth Meyer This book came from Amazon First Reads, which gives Prime members one free Kindle book every month. I’ve been claiming those books faithfully—and then being absolutely terrible about reading them. This time,

November Wrap Up
Freshly out of a book slump, I read three books in November. Here are my thoughts. Morning Star by Pierce Brown The first book I finished was Morning Star by Pierce Brown, the final installment in the first trilogy of the Red Rising series. The synopsis reads: “I think of all my people bound in darkness, of all the colors on all the worlds shackled and chained so that Gold might rule, and I feel the rage burn across the hollow they have carved into my soul. Do you find your desk cluttered and stressful by the end of the week, or even the end of the day? Here are some ways to keep your desk organized and functional. Desk Planner I know, I know, planners aren't for everybody. I thought planners weren't for me. That was until I found a weekly desk planner! Looking at an entire month at a time was overwhelming and sometimes confusing for me. Instead I switched to a weekly desk planner so I could compartmentalize my plans one week at

5 Tips To Create Your Classroom Library
Since I decided to become a teacher, I dreamed of my classroom library. I thought I could convince every student to read some of my favorite books. Now in my fifth year of teaching, I realize how delusional that thought was. My classroom library has shrunk to less than a full shelf of books. Why? Because I can't stock a book for every student that walks in my classroom. There's no room and I'd be broke. That's what their school library is for anyway. So, how can you curate yo
